GOFAR Foundation
Donations - Projects
The Foundation collects donations from several Donors in order to support income-generating projects and training projects initiated by young girls and women.

CONTEXT:
In Casamance, most young women live in a certain precariousness exposing their young daughter to lack of means to follow studies, or to provide for the needs of the family, because of this many are exposed to forced marriages or cases of rapes. Still others suffer from numerous illnesses due to a lack of adequate care, which causes them physical and emotional disabilities, etc.
An Arab problem says "If the profession does not enrich you, it protects you from want." Indeed the best way to help a person be free from need.
It is in this logic that GOFAR is classified, our fight: to boost and train young people to undertake or to learn a specific profession which meets the requirements of companies.

Dear Partner,
As part of the PARAFEV 23 program (Support Program for Strengthening the Activities of Vulnerable Women), We are planning a day of support for female sexual victims of the kullimaro center on June 10, 2023 and July 8, 2023.
In order to participate in their reconstruction and autonomy, these victims are trained in sewing and embroidery activities.
During this support day, we wish to strengthen these women in their self-esteem, support the center workers with advice and reinforcement sessions for better care of these women, but also provide these young women with sewing and embroidery accessories in order to stabilize their activity.
In the longer term, to overcome the problem
discretion, non-denunciation, we work on a self-educating platform in French and
local languages in order to allow these women and those who are not reported, to have a reference or
they will be able to access content discreetly at any time.
We want to see you participate in this work, providing whatever you can or by providing us with resource support for the platform.
We are attaching to this call a list of needs for the activities of the women of the center.
